Decolonising Menstruation

About the programme

In celebration of this year's Women's History Month, Skaped will be running a series of workshops all about decolonising the body. This is a free creative series dedicated to unravelling the cycles of oppression, fostering body liberation and empowerment through the arts.

The programme will end with a Collective Culminating Exhibition at Bermondsey Project Space happening the first week of April. A call-out for art submissions will be out soon, watch this space + follow us on our socials to enter your art piece!

About this event

Decolonising Menstruation Workshop

Join us for a unique session by our guest speaker from Bloody Good Period, an organisation who "fights for menstrual equity and the rights of all people who bleed". This 2-hour long workshop will focus on understanding the cultural, historical, and personal dimensions of menstruation. A space for open dialogue and empowerment awaits.

Prior knowledge is not neccesery, just come along with an open mind and listening ears.

Open to ages 18 - 30, prioritising those identifying with the term ‘woman’ in any capacity, especially those who identify as POC and/or part of the Global Majority.

Spaces are limited; please register to reserve your spot.
